Adobe Illustrator CS4

Adobe Illustrator CS4 is a versatile medium to work with vector graphics and has a new transparency in gradients and multiple assembly areas, which allows exploring more efficient ways of working.

The use of multiple assembly areas - New!
Create files containing up to 100 assemblies of varying sizes and display them in the desired form - overlapping, side by side or as a stack. Save, export and print art boards separately or together. Save a selected range or all of the mounting area as a multiple-file PDF.

Transparency in gradients -
Define the opacity of any individual color in the gradient. Reveal underlying objects and images, and create rich color and texture mixes using multiple layers, knockouts, and fades.

-Panel appearance editing - New!
Edit object characteristics directly in the Appearance panel, eliminating the need to open the palette associated with the fill, stroke, and effects. Shared attributes and control display for faster rendering.

Brush tool Blob - New!
Create a single clean vector shape when sketching, even when strokes overlap. Create line, naturally, using the tool, the Blob Brush tool together with the Eraser and Smooth.

Refined graphic styles - Improved
Combine styles for unique effects and increased efficiency, and apply styles without changing the current design object. Use the convenient new thumbnail previews and an expanded library of prebuilt styles.

Direct work with gradients - New!
Work with gradients directly on the site. Ask angle, position, and elliptical dimensions of the gradient. Add and edit colors using sliders - it allows you to instantly see the changes.

Clipping masks demystified - Improved
Simplify your work with masks, viewing only the clipped area of your objects during editing. Take advantage of Isolation Mode, and use Edit Clipping Path for even more convenience and more present in this program.
